Hi everyone! Scott Fraser here.
today I come to talk about the ask-Tumblr pages that have been in overwhelming increase since the pony fandom.
I really enjoy ask tumblrs so much lately and I only know this thanks to the pony fandom. If you are feeling lame and you sense that you are not accomplishing anything at all drawing-wise, you can always go ahead and open an ask-tumblr.
Anyone could do one, but I'm talking of the ask tumblrs in which you have to draw to get the answers done.
I laugh at the people that say that they are pointless or that they do it because they are attention whores, it's not TOTALLY true and I will explain why.
When you begin to do a tumblr page you pick out a character you want to impersonate. That was the easy part... here comes the hard part. Making a Tumblr page makes you act as if you were the character itself and not only that, you will get questions that might be from the most common ones to the most bizzare shit you will ever see. And you have to think of an interesting reply to few of them and put it in the page. You need to draw out what you want to answer and hope for it to be funny or interesting enough to get the attention of many followers. If you get a huge amount of followers, you know you are doing a good job.
You may ask
"But what is the benefit from it..."
obviously...
"...other than fame?"
pfff... such a close minded person we have here...
you get many MANY benefits!
-You will perfect your drawing skills and lineart flow (you can see the first posts of a popular tumblr and you will see what I mean)
-You will practice impersonasation which will also help you practice your acting skills (but don't take it to far as in believing you ARE the character)
-You will refine your instant improvisation and creativity for each answer you give away.
-You will experience a bit of fame
Don't believe me? Take a look at Skoon. (Berrypunch's Tumblr page) His artwork went from lines being simple to lines with value and anatomy.

AFTER
He has really imrpoved in these two months... yep, that's just a 2 month gap.
His tumblr is here: http://ask-berry-punch.tumblr.com/
I'm a bit excited how mine would be...
And so I analysed this situation over, I Scott Fraser made a Tumblr page!
Yup... I have an Ask Tumblr page now.

Most of you may wonder why I have decided to do such a thing.
1) Needing to draw everyday will make me get into actually doing stuff more often.
2) Everytime you answer, you have to come up with a funny/interesting thing to answer. Extra challenge points for having to actually draw it.
3) Pretending to be a character helps you understand character creation principles a bit more...
4) The populariteh
so go ahead! Ask discord your question and hope for it to be answered!
HILARITY AWAITS!
Thanks for tuning in.
